RACHEL KNIGHT, AGACNP-BC

Rachel is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) with more than a decade of experience caring for adults with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. She also serves as nursing faculty in graduate education and is currently completing her PhD in Nursing.

Her clinical experience includes general cardiology, hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiovascular risk reduction, and the management of medically complex adults and older adults. Her background also includes intensive care and hospital medicine, providing a strong foundation in the evaluation and management of critically ill and high-acuity patients.

Rachel has additional experience in cardiac electrophysiology, including the evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders. She also evaluates and treats venous disease, including chronic venous insufficiency and superficial venous disorders, and has experience with procedural treatments including sclerotherapy.

Her clinical interests include general and preventive cardiology, cardiovascular risk reduction, hypertension, heart failure, cardiac rhythm disorders, venous disease, and comprehensive cardiovascular care across the adult lifespan.

Outside of work, Rachel has called Arizona home since 2013. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and being with family. Whenever possible, you can find her near the beach—often with a coffee in hand.
