Lee Goldberg Cardiology Tucson

Dr. Lee Goldberg, MD

Dr. Goldberg’s interest in cardiology began in his childhood. At a young age, his father had a heart attack and this was the deciding factor in Dr. Goldberg’s commitment to become a physician.

Because of this personal connection to heart disease, Dr. Goldberg understands the importance of having a close relationship between a physician, patient, and their family.

Dr. Goldberg and his wife, Wendy, have lived in Tucson since 2002. Wendy leads the office as the Practice Manager. You may often find Dr. Goldberg on the tennis court as he enjoys playing tennis regularly. In addition, Dr. Goldberg and Wendy enjoy the beautiful Arizona climate. Dr. Goldberg also enjoys spending his time with his two daughters, Maisy and Ruby.

Dr. Stanley Goldberg, MD

Stanley Goldberg MD is a cardiologist who has a parallel specialty in Preventative Cardiology (now called Lipidology). The purpose of Lipidology is to prevent or substantially reduce the probability of heart attacks, strokes and peripheral vascular disease. Many of these problems result from genetic issues which can be diagnosed with special testing.. Preventative Cardiology is considered to have began with the FDA release of the first statin medication in 1987, but Dr. Goldberg preceded that initiation of this special area of practice by a number of years.  Dr Goldberg has published more than 200 research studies in Cardiology and Lipidology in first line peer reviewed medial journals, 5 books, many chapters and many medical presentations.  Dr Goldberg limits his practice to evaluating, testing and treating adults and children with lipid conditions.
